WT is moving to Canvas! Check out the tracker below to see where we are in the migration process.

Why the Move to Canvas?

In December 2023 and January 2024, the university conducted an evaluation to determine faculty preference for a learning management system that would best support WTAMU’s teaching and learning needs. Full-time faculty members had the opportunity to explore two of the leading LMS vendors and provide invaluable insights and preferences in a survey. The survey indicated that faculty had a strong preference for Canvas, which primarily influenced the decision to move to Canvas.

Our current LMS contract is set to expire on July 31, 2025, and we are fully committed to ensuring a seamless transition to Canvas. We hope you will return to this migration website regularly to check on migration progress and training updates!
